Dennis Cahill was an Irish priest who founded several Catholic Parishes in the late 1700s in Maryland and Virginia in the Potomac River valley area.[1][2]
Dennis Cahill was involved in the founding of several Catholic parishes in the Potomac River region. He performed the first Catholic mass in Allegany County, MD in 1791, and in 1792 he served Catholics in Chambersburg, PA.[3][4]
Cahill is known for his role in the legend of the Wizard Clip.
