Dennis Michael Ruprecht, Jr. (born May 15, 1999) is a former New Hampshire politician who served in the New Hampshire House of Representatives from December 5, 2018 until his resignation on December 17, 2021.[1] [2]

Early life and education[]

Ruprecht graduated in 2017 from Woodsville High School.[3] Ruprecht briefly attended the University of New Hampshire, Durham and Saint Michael's College before transferring to Plymouth State University where he graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in political science in 2021.[4]

Electoral history[]

Ruprecht ran for election to the New Hampshire House of Representatives to represent Grafton 15. He won in the general election on November 6, 2018, as a 19-year-old. Ruprecht was re-elected to the New Hampshire House of Representatives to represent Grafton 3 on November 3, 2020. [5]

National politics[]

Ruprecht was an early supporter of Joe Biden during the 2020 Democratic Party presidential primaries having endorsed him in July of 2019 months ahead of the New Hampshire presidential primary.[6] Ruprecht was selected as one of seventeen speakers to jointly deliver the keynote address at the 2020 Democratic National Convention.[7]
