Desmond Oswald Oliver (26 October 1930 – 25 October 1997) was an All Blacks rugby union player from New Zealand. He was a flanker.

He played twenty matches for the All Blacks in 1953–54, including two tests in which he got 12 points and 4 tries. He played for Otago, Wellington and University teams.

He was born in Palmerston North and died in Oxford, England. He attended Palmerston North Boys' High School then Victoria University of Wellington and Otago University.
