Plot[]

Devi, a Nagini from Naglog comes to Earth on the day of Eclipse with her friends to perform special pooja. It is said that the Naginis have to be returned back before the eclipse starts, otherwise they don't have power until the eclipse completes. Devi was distracted by Tandra, an evil Nag from same Naglog who had been punished by Nagdeva earlier and sent to Narag as a punishment. Thus Devi was imprisoned by Tandra with fire during eclipse while her other friends went to Naglog before the eclipse.

Devi was saved by Suseela's (Vanitha Vijayakumar) father, but he was killed by Tandra. In order to save Suseela from her relatives, Devi plans to marry Suseela with Raghava, who is Sussela's own cousin but they unaware of their relationship. Raghava and Sussela fall in love and their broken relationship gets patched up as Suseela's uncle and aunt was behind the broken relationship between Raghava family and Sussela family.

They got married. Nagdev appears before Devi and ask her to come to Naglog. Devi refuses as she wants Sussela to attain the ultimate joy. She requests Nagdeva that she will be back after Suseela gave birth to a child, because the child is a Godly blessed one and it can save Sussela from Tandra. Nagdeva accepts and gave her a power which can even bring back the lost life. Vijay, Raghava's younger brother loves Devi. But she avoids him.

In the mean time, Sussela becomes pregnant. Everyone is happy. But Tandra, with the help of another evil, imprisons Devi for a while and attacks Sussela. Sussela falls from stairs and lost the child. Devi with the help of Nagdeva's power, brings back the child. Sussela gives birth and on naming ceremony, Tandra confronts Devi that the child was born on wrong timing which becomes ema dosham for Raghava. This eventually postpones the Devi's departure to Naglog

In order to save Raghava, Devi makes Sussela to perform a pooja for 8 Amman. They bless Sussela to have a long life with her husband. Devi appears before them and informs them about Tandra's curse. They give an idea to Devi. If someone performs a pooja for Sakthidevi in Himalayas, she will protect her from all the evils. Devi excites and ready to inform Sussela about the pooja. But humans can't be able to stay in Himalayas without food. So Devi becomes ready to perform pooja on behalf of Sussela. 8 Amman tell her that she is not a suitable person, as only a member of Sussela's family can perform pooja. They disappear

Devi asks Sussela to perform pooja in her home for continuous 9 days and went. Devi asks Vijay to marry her. They get married and she leaves to Himalayas without his knowledge. Vijay shares his joy with his family, but no one believes him. He goes in search of Devi. Devi successfully completes her pooja. But on the last day (it is also an solar eclipse day), before Sakthidevi arrives before her, Tandra imprison Vijay and makes Devi to come out of the temple. Eclipse starts and thus Devi loses her power. She reveals her to Vijay and Vijay helps her to reach the temple

Devi performs final pooja. Here in Sussela's home, Tandra comes as Raghava. He asks her to come to bed. Vijay and Raghava(Tandra) confront each other.

Devi even ready to sacrifice her life. Once she sacrifices, Sakthidevi appears and helps Devi to kill Tandra and also Raghava is saved by his friend.
