Dianne Buckner is a Canadian television journalist,[1] best known as a host of business-oriented programming, such as Venture[1] and Dragons' Den,[1][2][3] on CBC Television and CBC News Network.

She has also been a guest anchor on CBC news programs such as CBC News: Sunday,[3] Midday and As It Happens, and currently serves as a back-up anchor on CBC News Network.[3] She previously worked for CTV, where she hosted the consumer awareness program Live It Up! and was a reporter for Canada AM and CTV National News.[2][3]

Buckner currently hosts Dragons' Den, CBC's hit reality program, and is a member of CBC News' business team. She writes a weekly column about small business for cbc.ca, and has a variety of on-camera roles at CBC News, including back-up host on The Lang and O'Leary Exchange.[2] She is also a public speaker, working with both National Speakers Bureau[4] and Speakers' Spotlight.
