Dictyophara is a genus of planthoppers belonging to the family Dictyopharidae, subfamily Dictyopharinae, containing more than 60 species in 5 subgenera.[1] The scientific genus name Dictyophara derives from the Greek (dictyon: net and phorein: wear) and can be translated "who wears a net".
