From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Dirtbag climbing is a lifestyle adopted by some rock climbers, in which they devote their entire life to climbing, often without either a job or a home.[1][2] Fred Beckey, described as "the quintessential dirtbag climber", was depicted in a film, Dirtbag: The Legend of Fred Beckey.[3]
