Divar (Persian: دیوار; lit. "wall") is an Iranian Farsi classified ads and E-commerce mobile app, and an online platform for users in Iran[1] and Afghanistan.[2][3] Animal rights had written a letter asking the app to remove the animal trade section.[4] It is in the top 10 Iranian websites, according to Alexa Internet, and also in the top Iranian apps,[5] according to Café Bazar. It has been downloaded 20 million times in 2020.[6][7] It has 35 million installs,[8] and 17 million real estate listings in 2019.

To use this app, users must register, have a valid National Iranian ID number, and they must pay for posting more than 3 ads.

Control and censor[]

The website periodically censors prices of cars, house rental, and real estate.[9] Masseuse/massage ads are censored and deleted .[10]
