Dolan Peak

Dolan Peak (

85°56′S 133°15′W / 85.933°S 133.250°W / -85.933; -133.250Coordinates: 85°56′S 133°15′W / 85.933°S 133.250°W / -85.933; -133.250) is a rock peak, 2,070 metres (6,800 ft) high, standing 2 nautical miles (4 km) west-northwest of Hendrickson Peak in the northwest part of the Quartz Hills. It was mapped by the United States Geological Survey from surveys and U.S. Navy air photos, 1960–64, and was named by the Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names for , a glaciologist at Byrd Station, summer 1959–60.[1]
