Dominic's pianism has won him won several prizes, including First Prizes in the 22nd Brant International Piano Competition, British Music Society Awards, R.C.M Chappell Gold Medal, a Director's Golden Jubilee Award at the RCM, Eastbourne Symphony Orchestra Young Soloist Competition as well as a laureate of the Corpus Christi, U.S.A. International Competition for Piano and Strings. Dominic is an Honorary Associate of the Royal Academy of Music. is on the faculty of Goldsmiths University, Royal Academy of Music (Junior Department) and also teaches at City of London School for Girls and North London Collegiate School. His latest album, “24+1” has received 5 star reviews from International Piano Magazine, Classical Music Magazine & was described by Radio 3 Record Review as "A superbly curated collection, imaginatively compiled and navigated with flair by pianist Dominic John.
