Donald J. Rennie

Donald J. Rennie, son of Shirley and Dr. James Clarence Rennie (BSc Agr, MSc, PhD.), who was assistant deputy minister of agriculture in Ontario for seventeen years,[1]is a justice with the Federal Court of Appeal of Canada.[2] He is also Chairman of the Canadian Competition Tribunal.[3] Previously, he served as a justice with the Federal Court of Canada. Prior to his appointment to the bench, he was a Justice Assistant Deputy Attorney General with the Department of Justice in Ottawa.[4]

Education: B.A. History (Hon.), University of Guelph; law degree, Dalhousie University. The University of Guelph conferred an honorary doctorate on Donald J. Rennie.
