The Doncaster Mustangs are an American football team from Doncaster, South Yorkshire, England who compete in the BAFA National Leagues NFC East 2. They play their home games at the Keepmoat Stadium Athletics Field, the home of Doncaster Rovers & Doncaster. They were established in the autumn of 2002 and during the 2008 season they were known as the South Yorkshire Mustangs.[1]

Club Structure[]

The Doncaster Mustangs Head Coach is current player Paul Weston who is assisted in the Offensive Coordinator position by QB Pete Rodgers. The Defensive side of the ball is coordinated by Coaches Chris Swinbourne and Jonah Jones, who between them have significant experience in playing and coaching at University and Senior league level. Gavin Lyons has stepped up to coach the linemen units.

The day-to-day running of the club falls to the experienced hands of General Manager Mark Blythe, who is assisted in game day matters (and commentary services) by Martyn Richmond.
