Donnalyn Jereos Bartolome (born July 9, 1994) is a Filipina YouTube vlogger as well as a singer, songwriter, rapper, and actress.

Early life and career[]

Donnalyn Jereos Bartolome was born in Oahu, Hawaii on July 9, 1994.

Bartolome started posting videos on YouTube when she was 14 years old after moving to different countries as a part of a Navy family. The videos were initially intended for the friends she left behind, but eventually, Bartolome began to build a following on the social media platform. She posted everything from makeup tutorials to dance and song covers. She eventually moved to Facebook where her fame really began to grow. She has 11.7 Million Followers on Facebook, 4.8 Million on Instagram and 1.3 Million on Twitter as of May 2021.

At the age of 16, one of the leading record labels in the country, Viva Records and Flipmusic, signed her under their companies to release self-written original tracks. Eventually, Bartolome became an official Viva Artist. Aside from a recording contract, Bartolome secured a movie contract with Viva Entertainment.

She shot to fame after the release of her single "Kakaibabe", a soundtrack to the hit film Diary ng Panget, and "LM4M", a song produced by Jon Bonus. She released the album Happy Break Up with lead single "Happy Break Up". KakaiBabe and Happy Break Up held the title of most viewed music video of a solo female singer from Viva Records from July 2014 until December 2019.

She was featured in Jireh Lim's "Magkabilang Mundo" music video along with the late Tado Jimenez, which eventually became the most viewed OPM music video on YouTube after Gayuma.[citation needed] She was featured in Ryan Bang's video "Shopping", which also features Yam Concepcion, Jayson Gainza, Aiko Climaco and James Reid.

She appeared in movies such as Bakit Lahat ng Gwapo may Boyfriend? as Anne Curtis' sister and played supporting roles to famous actresses Nadine Lustre, Yassi Pressman and Andi Eigenmann in other movies. She did cameos as herself in Vice Ganda's films The Amazing Praybeyt Benjamin and Girl, Boy, Bakla, Tomboy. It was in 2018 when she starred in Cry No Fear with Ella Cruz, a house break-in thriller which marks as Cruz's debut film.

Back in the music scene, Bartolome released her 3rd album Surprise with 'Di Lahat as the album's lead single. In 2019, she released a self directed music video of Di Lahat featuring the most famous personalities in the industry. It was followed up by another successful self-directed music video titled HBD from the same album. This made her the most subscribed singer-songwriter on YouTube in the Philippines with 5.55 Million Subscribers as of September 2020.[citation needed]
