Down Boys is the debut single by American rock band Warrant. The single was released in 1989 from Warrant's debut album Dirty Rotten Filthy Stinking Rich. The song charted at #27 on the Billboard Hot 100[5] and #13 on the Mainstream Rock Tracks chart.[6]

Down Boys which also became the band's nickname featured a music video and the song was also re-visited by the band in 1999 on their Greatest & Latest album.

The song's video was placed on New York Times list of the 15 Essential Hair-Metal Videos.[3]

Review[]

The song has been described as "one of the toughest, heaviest songs in [Warrant's] catalog, and certainly at the top of both categories in terms of their hit singles."[7]
