Dundonald Church is an evangelical Church located in the Wimbledon area of the London Borough of Merton, London.[3] It is located in Raynes Park, and is committed to preaching Christianity through Calvinism.[4] The Church was planted by the Co-Mission Initiative, a church-planting network in England.[5] The Senior Pastor of Dundonald is Richard Coekin, who is also the CEO of Co-Mission.[1]

History[]

The Church was originally planted in 1990 by Emmanuel Church, Wimbledon, and met at Dundonald Primary School in Merton,[6] before moving to its current location in 2008, which was the site of a former warehouse.[7][8] In October 2019, construction began for the new three-story church building, and Dundonald temporarily moved to holding services at Wimbledon Chase Primary School, though, due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, it also hosts services online.[9] The building was originally expected to be completed in September 2021,[7] however was delayed due to flooding.[10]

As of 2019, its congregation consisted of over 500 adults, with sizeable Korean and South African memberships.[11]
