Dysschema perplexum is a moth of the family Erebidae first described by William Schaus in 1910. It is found in Panama and Costa Rica.^[1]

It is a highly dimorphic species. Males are semitransluscent white with transverse fasciae and veins heavily marked with dark grey. The forewings of the females are black crossed by two transverse oblique white bands. They have orange hindwings, resembling Chetone species.^[2]
