Early life and education[]

Raised by a semi-literate grandmother who rose from the ranks of a domestic worker to one of the legendary entrepreneurs of her time, and a father, a legal intellectual and businessman, but both successful entrepreneurs, Dzigbordi had the best of both worlds.

Dzigbordi is an alumna of Accra Girls Senior High School and Virginia State University where she holds a Degree in Economics and Finance. She also has an Executive Education from Harvard University, Outstanding Certifications in Thought Leadership, and High-performance Coaching, Image Consulting, Etiquette and International Protocols Spa Management and Wellness Therapies from the High-Performance Institute-by Brendon Burchard, Protocol School of Washington and Sterling Style Academy respectively.

Career[]

In 1998 when the concept of the spa was non-existent and unwelcoming in the Ghanaian society, Dosoo saw an opportunity. With two people and her living room in Osu, she established the Allure Saloon which has now grown into Allure Africa. Prior to that, she worked in finance. She has 10 years of experience in Investment Banking and International Trade Consulting. She founded Business Linkages International, a financial services consultancy, which transitioned into the Eagle Group in 2004.

Personal life[]

Dzigbordi was married to the late Lionel Van Lare Dosoo, a former Deputy Governor of the Bank of Ghana. A devoted mother of one biological daughter and guardian to many adopted children whom she mentors. Dzigbordi is passionate about helping the youth and women using real-life experiences to help them unleash their potentials. She enjoys watching tennis, writing and spending time with her daughter and family.
