E Frontier Inc (株式会社イーフロンティア, Kabushikigaisha Ī ifurontia) was founded in 1999 and is a developer and publisher of graphic design and consumer entertainment titles.[1] E Frontier is based in Tokyo, Japan. E Frontier develops Shade 3D, a modeling, rendering and animation software on Windows and Mac OS X.

- 2003 - Established e-frontier Shanghai in Shanghai, China ;Succession of Shade business ; AQUAZONE business succession; Poser acquisition of rice Curious Labs of development e-frontier America, Inc. Inaugurated
- 2004 - Converted I-Four, which develops brush kings and AI Shogi, into a subsidiary
- 2005 - Buy Kameo Interactive Music Software Business from Mega Chips' subsidiary Mega Fusion
- 2007 - Integrate and organize domestic and overseas group companies into e-frontier
- 2010 - Modo , rice LightWave 3D started selling
- 2011 - Started selling Slingbox in Japan
