Eamon Rice
(Edward) Eamon Rice (26 April 1873 – 7 November 1937) was an Irish Fianna Fáil politician. A national school teacher before entering politics, he was first elected to Dáil Éireann as a Fianna Fáil Teachta Dála (TD) at the 1932 general election for the Monaghan constituency.[1] He was re-elected at the 1933 and 1937 general elections.[2] He died while still in office in 1937. His widow Bridget Rice succeeded him as a TD for the same constituency from 1938 to 1954.
