Earons (band)

This incredibly influential band, The EARONS, hail from New York, N.Y. They brought a message of Peace, Love and Understanding hoping to inspire social justice and harmony between all of the people here on earth.
Group members use the following stage names: .28 (a.k.a. Henry Pizzicarola, vocals), .22 (Percival Prince, guitar), .33 (Kevin Nance, keyboards), .69 (Melvin Lee, bass) and .18 (Lonnie Ferguson, drums). In 1984 they topped the Hot Dance Music/Club Play chart with "Land of Hunger", which also reached 36 on the Billboard R&B Chart. To date, they have only released one album, "", on LP and cassette (it has never been released on CD).
In 1985, The EARONS opened for RUN DMC on a USA Nationwide tour, at the Baltimore Civic Auditorium.
On Friday, November 21, 2008, the band surfaced again on a new official website which proudly proclaimed that The Earons were still "Here on Earth". Four new songs - "Future", "Numbers and Wires" (Lyrics by Frank Venditti), "Juliana's Cloth" (Lyrics by Frank Venditti), and "Written in America" - were posted, along with the groundbreaking video for "Land of Hunger” .
Recently, a live recording of “Juliana’s Cloth”, and a new song titled “Back To The Garden” were made available on many popular streaming sites. These two songs, of social awareness, address the issues of today and are solo efforts by .28. Both tunes were composed and sung beautifully by Henry Pizzicarola (.28) with lyrics by Frank Venditti
