Earthmind is operates as a consultancy based in Oxford United Kingdom. From 2006 to 2020, it operated as a not-for-profit association based at the International Union for Conservation of Nature Conservation Centre in Gland, Switzerland. From 2010 to 2019, its sister organisation was a consultancy based in Divonne-les-Bains, France.

Over the years, Earthmind has brought together a network of independent professional associates who operate in the field of sustainable development and nature conservation. Earthmind works with clients and partners in the private, public and non-governmental organization sectors on various projects promoting sustainability solutions, primarily with respect to biodiversity.

Mission[]

Earthmind’s mission is "caring for our planet". It seeks to promote a sustainable balance between the natural environment and human activity as envisioned in the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

Earthmind’s work is organised under four themes:

Recognising and encouraging voluntary conservation in the areas where people live and work

Advancing the sustainable use of wild terrestrial resources in support of conservation and development

Advancing the sustainable use of wild marine resources in support of conservation and development

Enabling private finance to care for our planet by having a positive impact on nature
