El Retiro (also known as Encierro and today as Pinewood Estate) is a historic site in Lake Wales, Florida. It is located on Mountain Lake, off State Road 17. The house was designed by architect Charles R. Wait, and the gardens were designed by the Olmsted Brothers firm. Since 1970, it has been part of Bok Tower Gardens. On December 12, 1985, it was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places.
