Elijah Long (born October 25, 1979) is an American producer and writer. He is the first African American producer in the Rambo franchise as executive producer.[1][2][3] Rambo:Last Blood, opened in theaters globally in September 2019.[4] Long served as Executive Producer on the film TESLA, the bio pic of the great inventor Nikola Tesla, starring Ethan Hawke.[5] TESLA premiered in Sundance Film Festival 2020 and was recently purchased by IFC Films.[6]

Early life[]

Long was born in Chicago, Illinois and grew up in the city's Southside. After high school, Long traveled the world while serving in the U.S. Navy. On completing his military tour he decided to pursue a career in entertainment.

Acting career[]

Long appeared in the short film Crossroads and more recently in Still Harlem.[7] On television, he played as the Go-to-Guy on the show Clean House.[8]

Producing career[]

Long was Executive Producer on Rambo: Last Blood and TESLA. He joined forces with CIROC and Paramount Pictures to Executive Produce the cross-branding commercials for Will Packer's What Men Want.[9] Long produced the music video for Cap by KSI ft Offset.[10][11]

Long co wrote and produced All-Star Weekend,[12] Jamie Foxx's directorial debut. Long is currently serving as Producer on the film North of The 10.[13][14]
