Elophila nebulosalis, the nebulous munroessa moth, is a moth in the family Crambidae. It was described by Charles H. Fernald in 1887.[1] It is found in North America, where it has been recorded from South Carolina to Florida.[2]
The wingspan is about 15 mm. The forewings are orangish yellow with a dark grey patch along the costa, forming a semicircle. The area inside this semicircle is orangish yellow with a small white patch. There is a white subterminal line, bordered with black. The hindwings are orangish yellow with three white lines with black borders. Adults have been recorded on wing year round in Florida.
The larvae are thought to be aquatic.[3]
