Emil Jakobsen (born 24 January 1998) is a Danish handball player for SG Flensburg-Handewitt and the Danish national team.[1]

He represented Denmark at the 2021 World Men's Handball Championship.[2][3]

In his last season in GOG he beat a 16 year old record, the record of most scored goals in one season in the danish league. The previous record was held by the icelandic Robert Gunnarsson with 241 goals in 2004/05. Jakobsen scored his 242nd goal in the second to last game of the season.[4] He scored a total of 244 goals during the season, which is now the new record.
