Eretmocera syleuta is a moth of the family Scythrididae. It was described by Edward Meyrick in 1926. It is found in South Africa (Western Cape).[1][2]
The wingspan is about 12 mm. The forewings are dark violet-grey, somewhat lighter-mixed posteriorly. The hindwings are dark fuscous.[3]
