Eric Kofi-Abrefa (born 7 September 1986) is a British actor. He is best known for his roles as Mark Bailey in the Netflix television series The One (2021–present) and Lamar Silas in the Starz crime drama television series BMF (2021–present).[1]
Early life[]
Kofi-Abrefa was born in London, England, on 7 September 1986, the son of Ghanaian migrant parents.[2] He attended the BRIT School in Croydon.[2]
He went on to study acting at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama in Cardiff, Wales, graduating in 2012.[3][4]
Career[]
Kofi-Abrefa made his acting debut when he appeared BBC television play Shoot the Messenger as Yannek.
His guest appearances on television include Holby City, Law & Order: UK, The Bill, Stella, Sherlock and Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan.
In 2014, Kofi-Abrefa played the role of Haisal in the live-action Halo television series Halo: Nightfall, for 5 episodes. In 2016, he played the role of DS Kane in 3 episodes of the programme Stan Lee's Lucky Man and Danny in the television series Humans for 4 episodes, respectively.
He has appeared in films such as Fury, Snowden and Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. In 2019, he played the role of Switcher in the crime drama film Blue Story.
In 2021, he played the role of Lamar Silas in the Starz crime television drama series BMF.[5][6][7]
