Erin Hershey Presley (born Erin Alise Hershey on September 2, 1976) is an American actress.

Career[]

The actress is most known for her role as Alison Barrington on the canceled American soap opera Port Charles. Her character's pairing with Jamal Woods was a popular supercouple, but after the characters were torn apart, her character was paired with Brian Gaskill's Rafe. Erin reprised the role of Alison on General Hospital on January 30, 2013, she accompanied Jon Lindstrom (Kevin Collins) on his visit along with her son Rafe.

After Lisa Ling left her role as a co-host of ABC's The View in 2003, Erin joined the on-air auditions to replace her. Although she was one of three finalists for the job, the co-host job eventually went to Elisabeth Hasselbeck.

Her most recent role was in the movie Americanizing Shelley (2007).

In January 2013, Presley reprised her role Alison Barrington on General Hospital who came along with a teenage son, named Rafe, to Port Charles, where she was then murdered.

Personal life[]

Erin grew up on Mercer Island and attended Mercer Island High School.

On July 27, 2002, Erin married her Port Charles co-star, Brian Presley. Erin gave birth to a baby boy on January 7, 2007. They named him Jackson "Jack" Gunnar. The also have a daughter named Emma. They have announced they are expecting another daughter in June they plan on naming Ruby Rose.
