Erna Raabe (1882-1938) was a German painter.[1]
Biography[]
Raabe was born on 8 August 1882 in Opava, in what is now the Czech Republic. She studied at the Städelsches Institut in Frankfurt am Main. Her teachers included Wilhelm Trübner.[2] In 1902 she met the painter Käthe Loewenthal in Italy.[3] The couple settled in Stuttgart in 1909.[4][5] They remained together until Raabe's death in Greifswald, Germany 1938.[5][6]
