Etix is an international web-based ticketing service provider for the entertainment, travel and sports industries, processing over 50 million tickets per year in 40 countries.[citation needed] Headquartered in Raleigh, North Carolina, and founded in 2000, Etix has offices in China, the Netherlands, Germany, Japan, Austria, Houston, Texas and Birmingham, Alabama.[1]
Etix has come under scrutiny by customers as the company has refused to issue refunds for shows cancelled in their entirety pursuant to their refund policy in 2020 and 2021, with customers claiming the company committed fraud and theft by refusing refunds for services not rendered.[2][3] [4]

Acquisitions[]
In January 2011 Etix acquired , a digital marketing agency located in Nashville, TN.[9] Rockhouse Partners provides marketing services to a variety of Etix venues as part of Etix Connect.
