European Association of Conservatoires

The European Association of Conservatoires (AEC) is the main association of colleges and university schools of music in Europe, which was established in 1953. It represents the interests of institutions that are concerned with training for the music profession. Today, the AEC includes 263 member institutions in 55 countries, not all of them in Europe.
