Eutropis madaraszi, also known as Sri Lanka bronze mabuya, Sri Lanka bronze skink,[1] or (ambiguously) spotted skink,[2] is a species of skink endemic to island of Sri Lanka.[1]
Habitat and distribution[]
A widespread terrestrial skink reported from both wet and dry zones. Known localities include Colombo, as well as around Kala Wewa, and .
Description[]
Body slender. Midbody scale row 32. Dorsum brown, with a dark line along the flank. Venter unpatterned creamy.
Ecology and diet[]
Found in elevations up to 800m, in rock crevices, under leaf litter or under logs, and seen basking at midday.
