According to Variety Insight, principal photography for Evolution began on March 29, 2021, in Los Angeles, California.[1] In May 2021, it was reported that filming would also take place in North Carolina and that Marcia Gay Harden, Charlie Rowe, Josephine Langford, Zoe Colleti, Hannah Alligood, Jim Belushi, and Diane Ladd would star.[2] Filming will conclude on May 29, 2021.[1]
