Extinction is a forthcoming Sky television action drama time loop series from screenwriter Joe Barton and starring Paapa Essiedu.[1]

Plot[]

The 8-part series follows the story of George, who begins to re-live time after witnessing the world end. He is recruited into an organisation that harnesses this power to prevent global catastrophes, but goes rogue in a bid to save the woman he loves. It’s billed as a gripping exploration of memory, fate, and the limits of love.[1]

Produced by Urban Myth Films, the series features Marco Kreuzpaintner, Akaash Meeda, and Laura Scrivano as directors. Filming has been taking place in the spring of 2021 in Bristol, Prague, and Postoloprty.[2][3][4]

Broadcast[]

Extinction is expected to air in the UK on Sky Max and Now in 2022.[5]
