FFA Private Bank is the generic name for two sister financial institutions respectively based in Beirut, Lebanon and in Dubai (DIFC), United Arab Emirates specializing in the fields of capital markets, wealth management, investment banking and real estate services.

History and profile[]

Founded in 1994 as a Financial Brokerage House by Jean Riachi, FFA Private Bank SAL was granted a banking license in 2007 by Banque du Liban.[1]

FFA Private Bank (Dubai) Ltd is regulated by the Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA) and operates from within the Dubai International Financial Center.[2] It is fully owned by FFA Group Holding, a company registered in the DIFC.


The bank in Lebanon is the country leading Specialized Bank and, according to Reserve Bank, the bank is "Leader in Lebanese Capital Markets and High Income Asset Management, typical private bank concentrating on the wealthy clients, has its own forex, futures and equity trading platform".[3]

The bank was the first Financial Institution to Launch a Tracker of the MSCI Arabian Stock Index, the FFA Arabian Growth Certificate and is an active regional player on film financing especially Lebanon-related productions such as Kahlil Gibran's The Prophet with Salma Hayek.[4]

FFA Real Estate, a generic name for the group's real estate companies, is one of the leading Real Estate and Touristic projects Developer in Lebanon with landmarks projects such as Badaro Gardens, Ahlam Golf and Mountain Village and the Naas Springs project. It also develops and manages real estate projects and properties across Europe through FFA Real Estate GMBH.

The bank was named "Best Private Bank in the Middle-East 2018" by the Banker Middle-East magazine and "Winner Levant Asset Manager 2018" by the MENA Fund Manager magazine.[5][6]
