Faatsung (Nepali: फातसुङ) is a Nepali novel written by Chuden Kabimo.[1][2] Kabimo is an Indian writer from Darjeeling and the winner of the Yuva Puraskar (Nepali language), 2018 for his short story collection 1986.[3] The book is published by FinePrint publication and is written in Darjeeling dialect.[4] The novel was released by Kabimo, and writers Khagendra Sangraula and Bhushita Vasistha in Kathmandu.[5][6]
Synopsis[]
In Lepcha language, Faatsung means story of the soil. The novel is based on the Gorkhaland movement in northern part of West Bengal.[7]
