Fahriye Sultan was the daughter of Murat III and an unknown concubine.

Life[]
Fahriye was born between 1590 and 1594. She is believed to have married in 1613 to Çuhadar Ahmed Pasha, who was the governor of Mosul.[1] After Pasha's death in 1618, in the following year she married Sofu Bayram Pasha, who was the governor of Bosnia.[2] She had a son from another marriage. After Bayram Pasha's death in 1627 she never married again.
Death[]
She was last mentioned in the harem registers in 1641. According to many sources, she most likely died in 1656 and was buried in her father's mausoleum in the courtyard of the Hagia Sophia.
In popular culture[]
In the series Magnificent Century - Kosem, Fahriye's character is mostly replaced by the character of Safiye's older daughter Ayse Sultan. It was shown in the series that she married Dervis Mehmed Pasha in 1604, which is not a proven and reliable historical fact. The character of Fahriye Sultan was portrayed by actress Gülcan Arslan.
