Favolaschia is a genus of fungi in the family Mycenaceae. The genus has a widespread distribution, and contains about 50 species.[3] Like the genus Favolus, the name is derived from the Latin favus meaning honeycomb, as the fungi with the large pores on the underside are resembling a honeycomb. The name was first published as a section of the obsolete genus Laschia, which was named after Wilhelm Gottfried Lasch (1787-1863).[4]
