Fay Winford Boozman III (November 10, 1946 – March 19, 2005) was an American ophthalmologist and politician. Elected to one term as a member of the Arkansas Senate, he was state's Republican nominee for U.S. Senate in 1998, ultimately losing to Representative Blanche Lincoln. The following year, he was named director of the Arkansas Department of Health by Mike Huckabee.[1] His younger brother, John Boozman, would eventually capture the Senate seat in 2010.
He served in the Arkansas Air National Guard, where he became a major in February 1977.[2]
