The Filipino Reporter was a weekly newspaper that is catered to the Filipino-American community in New York City. It is the only ethnic newspaper belonging to the New York Press Club as a regular member. It was founded in 1972 by a Filipino newsman Libertito “Bert” Pelayo.[1] It is also listed in the "Working Press of the Nation".[2][3]
