Finbarr O'Connell (born 21 May 1960)[1] is a British accountant and insolvency practitioner. He worked for the Caterham F1 Team during its administration. O'Connell took over the role of Team Principal while he was in charge, leading the team at the 2014 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.

Having been granted permission to miss both the United States and Brazilian Grands Prix, O'Connell set out to simultaneously raise funds, negotiate a deal between Fernandes and Engavest and to find a new buyer. To raise the necessary funding, Caterham launched a crowdfunding effort on the, aiming to raise £2.35m. The funding was required if the team was to compete at the final race of the season, the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.[2]
