Fincantieri 6274 is the yard name[3] for a cruise ship under construction for the Cunard Line. Announced in 2017, the ship will be Cunard's fourth ship in its current fleet and the 249th ship in its history.[4]

While Cunard provided few details, the new vessel will be based on the MS Koningsdam, Holland America Line's Pinnacle Class ship.[5] At 113,000 tons the ship will carry up to 3,000 passengers.[6]

Cunard has not announced an official name for the ship although Queen Anne has appeared in at least one industry publication.[2] Cunard's current fleet consists of RMS Queen Mary 2, MS Queen Victoria, and MS Queen Elizabeth. There is some popular speculation on whether Cunard would continue with the "Queen" naming practice[7] or might return to its 20th century naming convention of "-ia" such as past Cunard ships RMS Aquitania and RMS Mauretania. The latest Cunard vessel to have the "-ia" naming convention was the Caronia in 2004 (Coincidentally, the Queen Victoria has the "-ia" suffix at the end of her name).[8]

In June 2019 Cunard announced the design team for the public spaces.[9] Steel cutting began at Fincantieri’s Castellammare di Stabia shipyard on 11 October 2019.[10] Construction was anticipated to be completed in 2022 with the ship to be delivered at Monfalcone, Gorizia, Italy. In July 2020 Cunard's parent corporation reported to their investors that new ship deliveries scheduled for 2022 and 2023 would be delayed.[11]
