François-Régis Clet (Chinese: 劉格來; pinyin: Liú Gélái; 19 August 1748 – 18 February 1820) is one of the Martyr Saints of China.[1]

Clet was born in Grenoble. In 1769 he entered the Congregation of the Mission (Vincentians). He worked as a priest in Annecy and Paris. In 1791 he went to China. Finally he was arrested and executed in Wuchang for illegal mission. He was declared a venerable in 1843, beatified in 1900 and canonized by Pope John Paul II in 2000.[2]
