Franco and Ciccio were a comedy duo formed by Italian actors Franco Franchi (1928–1992) and Ciccio Ingrassia (1922–2003), particularly popular in the 1960s and 1970s. Together, they appeared in 116 films, usually as the main characters, and occasionally as supporting characters in movies featuring well-known actors like Totò and Domenico Modugno who wrote "Rinaldo in campo" for the two; the theater piece launched the comedy team's career.[1] The pair made their film debut with Modugno in Appuntamento a Ischia (1960). They also appeared in a variety of genres and appeared opposite Vittorio Gassman, Buster Keaton and Vincent Price.

Their cooperation started in 1954 and ended with Franco's death in 1992. In cinema they appeared together from 1960 (Appuntamento a Ischia) to 1984 (Kaos).
