Frank McCann

Frank McCann was an American Brazilianist expert in Brazilian military history.[1] He was a professor emeritus of history at the University of New Hampshire.[2][3] His work publicised in English Brazil's participations in the world wars.[4]

He also studied the relationship between Brazil and the United States.[1]

He, over many publications, has come to become a frequently cited author and somewhat of an authority in the topic area of the Brazilian Military around the Vargas era, 1930-1945.[5]
