Fred Alexander Barkley

Fred Alexander Barkley (1908–1989) was an American botanist.[1] Barkley studied at the University of Oklahoma and was awarded a PhD from the Washington University in St. Louis[citation needed] in 1937.[2]

The standard author abbreviation F.A.Barkley is used to indicate this person as the author when citing a botanical name.[3]
