The 2022 Full Gear is the upcoming fourth annual Full Gear professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event produced by All Elite Wrestling (AEW). It will take place on Saturday, November 19, 2022, at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.

Production[]

Background[]

Full Gear is a pay-per-view (PPV) held annually around Veterans Day by All Elite Wrestling (AEW) since 2019. It is one of AEW's "Big Four" PPVs, which includes Double or Nothing, All Out, and Revolution, their four biggest events produced quarterly.[1] During All Out on September 4, 2022, it was announced that the fourth Full Gear event would take place on Saturday, November 19, 2022, at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.[2] It was also announced that the November 18 episode of Friday Night Rampage would air live from the same venue. Tickets for both events went on sale on September 23.[3]

Storylines[]

Full Gear will feature professional wrestling matches that involve different wrestlers from pre-existing feuds and storylines. Wrestlers portray heroes, villains, or less distinguishable characters in events that build tension and culminate in a wrestling match or series of matches.[4] Storylines are produced on AEW's weekly television programs, Dynamite and Rampage, the supplementary online streaming shows, Dark and Elevation, and The Young Bucks' YouTube series Being The Elite.
