GCP Applied Technologies is an American public corporation based in Cambridge, Massachusetts. It sells chemicals and materials used in construction as well as sealants and coatings used in packaging.

History[]

GCP Applied Technologies was established as a subsidiary of W.R. Grace & Co. in Columbia, Maryland in 2015.[2] Its parent company spun off GCP Applied Technologies on January 28, 2016.[2]

The company has been listed on the New York Stock Exchange since its spin-off day.[2] Company executives, including chief executive officer and president is ,[1] rang the NYSE opening bell on February 4, 2016.[3]

On March 31, 2021, GCP Applied Technologies announced that it would be relocating its headquarters to Atlanta, Georgia; following the sale of its former headquarters in Boston. The move is expected to be completed by the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2021. [4]
