GS Pétroliers is a men's volleyball team in Algeria. The club belonged to MC Alger from its creation in 1947 until 2008, when it was purchased and accepted among the sports sections of the new sports club, GS Pétroliers, funded by Sonatrach.[citation needed] The club, including its past with MC Alger, is the most successful club in Algerian volleyball.[citation needed]
