The Gallery Press is an independent Irish publishing company, publishing Irish poetry, drama and prose by contemporary Irish writers.

History[]

Gallery Press began publishing with its first release on 6 February 1970. Peter Fallon founded the press when he was eighteen years old and has been the editor since the press's formation.[1] The press operates out of a small, 19th-century stone house and its adjacent outbuildings, in the centre of North Meath. It has been described as the "leading poetry publisher in the Irish Republic".[2]
